The honest 2026 guide — Framer, priced in the open

What a Framer website costs in Australia.

Framer is the newest of the major site platforms, and the Australian market for it is so thin that almost nobody publishes a price. This page does — the real 2026 range, and our own fixed number next to it.

In 2026, professionally built Framer websites run roughly A$4,500–40,000 depending on size, design ambition and motion work. Very few Australian agencies build on Framer at all, and none of them publish pricing — so here is ours, fixed: A$7,500 for a custom-designed 5–8 page site, A$10,300 for 9–15 pages, A$14,000 for 16–30 pages, launched in 2–3 weeks, with the price held for 30 days and scope-locked in writing.

Our fixed prices, in the open.

Because the Australian Framer market publishes almost nothing, the most useful thing we can do is publish everything. These are the numbers that go on the proposal — not starting-from bait.

Why Framer quotes vary

What actually moves the price.

Framer collapses design and build into one surface — what the designer makes is the site — which is why Framer projects start cheaper than hand-coded builds. From that lower floor, four things move the number.

Page count. Every page still needs designing and writing, whatever the platform. Ours are explicit: 5–8 pages included, 9–15 pages +A$2,800, 16–30 pages +A$6,500.

Motion design. Motion is the reason most people choose Framer, and there's a real difference between the platform's built-in effects and choreographed custom interaction design. The former is included; the latter is engineering time and we price it at +A$2,600.

Content and brand. A site can only look as good as the words and identity that go into it. Copywriting adds A$1,900; a brand refresh before we design a pixel adds A$2,400.

Design ambition. This is the driver that stretches the market range toward A$40k: fully bespoke art direction, illustration systems and heavy motion take real weeks anywhere. Our fixed prices cover custom design as standard — not a purchased template — which is why the floor is A$7,500 and not A$995.

One cost Framer moves off the build invoice: hosting, CDN and the CMS are part of the platform's own subscription, paid to Framer directly, so there is no separate hosting stack to maintain and no plugin surface to patch.

Our price vs the market

Where our number sits — and why almost nobody publishes one.

The Australian Framer scene barely exists yet: the platform is young, most local agencies still sell WordPress or Webflow, and the handful who do build on Framer quote by conversation. To our knowledge, no Australian Framer agency publishes its prices. That's not a moral failing — it's just how premium web work has always been sold — but it means every buyer starts from zero.

Against the ~A$4.5–40k market spread, our A$7,500 fixed entry point sits deliberately in the lower-middle: senior Australian engineers and designers shipping with AI acceleration compresses the hours, and Framer itself removes the infrastructure work. What you're not getting for that number is a template — every build is custom-designed, ships with the AI-visibility (GEO) pack, analytics, launch SEO and 30 days of care at A$0, and comes with 100% IP assignment in plain English. If you're still comparing platforms, our Framer agency page covers when Framer is the right call and when we'd steer you to Webflow or WordPress instead.

Questions people actually ask

Straight answers.

How much does a Framer website cost in Australia?
The 2026 market runs roughly A$4,500–40,000 depending on size, design ambition and motion work. Our own prices are fixed and published: A$7,500 for a custom-designed 5–8 page site, A$10,300 for 9–15 pages, A$14,000 for 16–30 pages — each launched in 2–4 weeks with the price held for 30 days. The 2-minute quote builds your exact number line by line.
Why is it so hard to find Framer pricing in Australia?
Because almost no Australian agencies build on Framer yet — the platform is young and most local studios still sell WordPress or Webflow — and the few that do quote by sales call. To our knowledge, none publish prices. We publish ours precisely because the market doesn't: you can see the whole rate card and price your own project before we ever know your name.
Is Framer cheaper than Webflow or WordPress?
At the entry level, modestly: our Framer builds start at A$7,500 against A$8,500 for Webflow and A$9,500 for custom WordPress. Framer's design-is-the-build workflow genuinely takes fewer hours for a marketing site. The gap closes as complexity grows — deep CMS structures favour Webflow, and heavy integrations or full stack ownership favour WordPress. The comparison is honest because we sell all three.
What's included in the A$7,500 fixed price?
A custom-designed 5–8 page Framer site — never a bought template — built by senior Australian engineers and designers: design, build, CMS setup and launch, plus the AI-visibility (GEO) pack (schema, llms.txt, entity wiring), analytics, launch SEO and 30 days of care, all at A$0. Add-ons are published too: copywriting +A$1,900, brand refresh +A$2,400, custom motion +A$2,600 and so on — see the rate card.
What are the ongoing costs of a Framer site?
Two lines. First, Framer's own subscription, paid directly to Framer — it covers hosting, CDN and the CMS, so there's no separate hosting stack or plugin patching. Second, optional care: our plans run A$190–990/month depending on what you want monitored and improved, every build includes the first 30 days free, and because you get 100% IP assignment, declining a plan never holds your site hostage.
How long does a Framer website take to build?
Ours launch in 2–3 weeks for a 5–8 page site and 3–4 weeks for larger builds — AI-accelerated delivery with senior oversight is the reason, and the timeline is on the quote next to the price. Framer helps here too: with design and build on one surface, there's no handover gap between the designer's file and the developer's code.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The number from the calculator is the number on your proposal if the scope we confirm on a 20-minute call matches what you ticked, and we hold it for 30 days. It's scope-locked: if we misjudge the effort for the written scope, the difference is our cost, not your invoice. If you change the scope, the price changes with it — in writing, before the work.

Stop guessing. Get your Framer number.

The 2-minute quote turns this page into one fixed price for your project — itemised, scope-locked, held for 30 days, and shown before we ever ask your name.
